John T. Jefferson and Soto got back to work as Sonic Replication in 2000 and called their fiddly sounds "Constructive Deconstruction". Their first project - after a remix for Phillip Boa ("Baby take the strain out") - was a remittance work for L1VE (Westdeutscher Rundfunk): background music for the feature "world.wide.wueste". Different "deconstructive" remixes followed (among other projects for Access_Denied, Steril, Das Ich, Garbo and Funker Vogt) and the "toNbremse e.p."
