Nothing much may be happening at the moment that doesn't mean nothing's happening!

The first songs of the new Celeste Noir-CD "Evolution", produced by John T. Jefferson, are finished and will be performed live April 17th at Shadow, Leverkusen. They'll be performing with Amox Mind as support for Frozen Plasma.

First audio- and video-clips of the new tracks should be available online shortly afterwards.

10-28-2010

The album “Bewegexemplarhas become that successfull it even had been listed as a tipp/new release by Deutsche Alternative Charts (DAC). We hope also to take part in Sonic Seducer's "Battle of the Bands".

Unfortunately there's been a mistake in the tracklisting: the second title of course is called "Electric visions" as originally sung by Carsten!

After a break John T. Jefferson is back in the studio working on Celeste Noir's "Best Of" as well as Stoersignal 3's new album "...das Leben ist ein Schlächter Witz".

Moreover all tracks - including both maxi-single-releases - by The [MEYTA] are being mastered. The extended "Mesoftunes" is going to be available for download on toNbremse.com as an online release only.

06-30-2010

All songs of Analogsympathisants EP “Bewegexemplar” are now online in the toNstrom/sounds-area in prehearsal-quality (also "Monochrome memories" with singer Ellissay).

On another very important note, from now on John T. Jefferson's releases will no longer be published by label NGR (Next Grinding Revenge) but THANKS FOR THE NOISE (TFN)!

THANKS FOR THE NOISE

The numbers of the releases remain the same. So “Bewegexemplar” will be release number 19 (TFN-CD-019); the album production is finished and all tracks are now in mastering process.

If you like to get your personal copy of “Bewegexemplar” for free, make sure you'll visit the Dunkel-Volk-info-point at Cologne's Amphi Festival (Tanzbrunnen 24./25. July 2010) or come to the Nocturnal Culture Night at Deutzener Kulturpark (near Leipzig 3. - 5. July 2010).

04-30-2010

Beside the “Bewegexemplar”-production, John T. created as Stoersignal 3 a version of singer/songwriter Ellissay's "Feel free" (www.ellissay.com).

From  the rockin folk song he made the "Entstoerte Orchester Version", which you can download in the toNstrom/Sounds-area!

The latest news from february didn’t go online due to a programming error. You’ll find them below again to read.

It took way too long before there was anything new to report on Analogsympathisant - until now:  in toNstrom/Sounds you’ll now be able to pre-listen to the first finished but unmastered song “Too much (is not enough)“ of the album “Bewegexemplar” which is going to be released in summer.

The song can also be found on www.myspace.com/analogsympathisant. There you can also follow further developments on the project in our german blog.

Also: There will be the first Stoersignal 3-Remix online soon as well, once the artist has given their okay.

02-08-2010

While in 2009 little was happening regarding John T. Jefferson's several projects, this year's diary is already fully packed.

Analogsympathisant's "Bewegexemplar" comes first. The production is in full swing and you can follow the project's developments in our www.myspace.com/analogsympathisant-blog (in german). Possible release: July 2010.

John T. Jefferson's next production will be a Best-of-album by Celeste Noir which is also planned for this year.

Third release is going to be the "Mesoftunes"-EP by The [MEYTA]: all tracks of the unfortunately less-successfull project will be available as free downloads on toNbremse.

What else will come along next? Stay tuned!

07-23-2009

Unfortunately during the last months there was not much worth reporting as John T. was concentrating on his job as a DJ.

Now there is not just news about Analogsympathisant but two new remixes to listen to as well: Due to the further delay of Access_Denied’s new EP we release Sonic Replication’s version of “Staged sofa” instead.

Also there is the first variation of the new concept of Celeste Noir’s “Heart of midnight”; the second one will follow soon.

Of course both remixes have been verified by the original copyright-owners.

Finally some more info on the production of “Bewegexemplar” by Analogsympathisant:

The intro is already produced and a first demo has been handed over to singer Carsten who’s going to write the lyrics. For more news on the production go to to www.myspace.com/analogsympathisant (in german)!

News and plans 2008:

Finally there will be some new sounds from John T.` s new project Analogsympathisant. “Rise” is to be heard in the toNstrom/sounds area and also at MySpace at a later date!

Furthermore, Sonic Replication are working on a remix for Celeste Noir, the main band of the Analogsympathisant singer Carsten.

The fulltime-CD from Stoersignal 3 is planned for summer 2008, expected to be finalized right in time for the Amphi-Festival in Cologne. The CD will include a complex booklet, John T. is regrouping a design team at present.

Later 2008, the 5.1-Version of Metafield`s “Fields” is to be expected and also more of Analogsympathisant.

So look forward to a new year filled with new sounds!

09-03-2007

We now closed the toNbremse shop for different reasons. Right now, we are thinking

about some other publication possibilities.

The remix for Access_Denied is finished (“Staged sofa [350 Seconds Away from Me]”)

and is to be found on the next EP of the band from Stuttgart. There is a snippet of it

in the toNoperatonen/Discography area of Sonic Replication.

The “Leitbild EP” of Stoersignal 3 receives only good feedback and was pretty much

out of stock on the Amphi-Festival in july. While we are at it: many thanks to the

Dunkel-Volk (www.dunkel-volk.de)

04-25-2007

The song "Ein Leitbild" of Stoersignal 3 has finally been finished. You can hear a one minute lasting cutout in the toNopeation area (Discography) of this project. The complete song will be published on an EP which is to be distributed to several scene clubs for a start.

A new version of "Anders sein" (from the Stoersignal 3-Longplayer "Im Enddefekt ...") will be produced, that's why this song can be downloaded now in a mastered version in the toNstrom/Sounds-area.

In addition, Sonic Replication starts working again: they were asked to create a remix for Access_Denied.

11-30-2006

Some bad news for you at years end:

A Spiteful Silence is definitively broken up, because the position of the vocalist could not be reoccupied!

10-05-2006

The first song of Störsignal 3 is to be heard (unmastered) in the toNstrom/sounds area: “Anders sein”; an absolutely dance floor hit!

This is now the sixth project integrated into the toNbremse.

08-18-2006

Finally it`s going on! First of all we may announce the release of Sonic Replications "Dunkelkammer"- Remix. You can order the CD/DVD box on the Golem 101-Homepage.

In addition John Thomas is now concentrating on his new project STÖRSIGNAL 3! It won`t be long until the first dancefloor hit can be heard on the toNbremse.

04-11-2006

This time we do have two bad news for you:

- Due to several problems inside the project, A Spiteful Silence is temporarily offline - put on hold!

- In consequence of the studio removal, there will probably no new songs until summer!

04-03-2006

For all who worried about toNbremse would be closed forever, this is the all-clear:

the toNbremse is not only back online again, but also completely re-designed!

Some things like the linkbar stayed the same, but of course we also like to tell you what has changed - besides the new graphic design:

- no frames anymore

- no pop ups (except on extern links)

- full compatible with resolutions over 1024x768

- you can always follow where you are

- more crosslinks within toNbremse

- treadmill on the toNstand/News side shows latest changes (the newsletter will stay anyway)

- the toNstrom/Sounds area can also particulary be selected for each project

- mp3 snippets also from more uncommon songs and versions

- all mp3 snippets in 44,1 kHz, 16 Bit, 96 kbps

So have fun with the new toNbremse,

your toNbremse team

01-05-2006

Finally the first song by A Spiteful Silence is available. If you go to toNstrom/Sounds you can download “Das Demo”!

John T.: “Before we wanted to start the “Distorted angel e.p.” it’s been important for us to prove how co-operation works out and where weaknesses have to be straightened. Therefore I suggested Lady Vecha and Ellissay ought to select a song we could produce as a test. Thus my part was comparable with Sonic Replication – which I think you notice on the song itself. Though, this is almost tradition – Metafield’s first song (“Isolated me”) based on a melody by Thesound Crash and Sonic Replication’s first steps (“Modern Nomads”) partly sounded like Metafield."

So it’s exciting what the first “own” songs by A Spiteful Silence with the new cast will sound like.

11-03-2005

How can a simple song like "I will be" take such a long time of production?

Well, first thing you have to know is that John T. is not a musician; he doesn`t play a musical instrument. He belongs to the generation of computer tinkerer. Nevertheless, he wanted to bring in the piano by himself.

John T.: "First of all I constructed it via MIDI and a synthetic piano. I wrote down the notes of the respective tracks; only their description, not the notation. Then I imported every single note from a "real" piano. From these always repetitive parts, I picked out the versions which were played pretty clearly.

Then I reconstructed the MIDI piano with parts of the "real" piano, advanced the timing here and there and finally I was able to bring in the lyrics (whereas its production took also a lot of time)"

But all efforts were worth while!

In addition, recordings for "The Demo" of A Spiteful Silence are finished. Means this project is back online after 13 years!

09-09-2005

Thanks to the kindly acceptance of Endanger, we may now present the "Fourgiven Reamix" of "Give me a reason" on toNbremse. In addition, there is a little story to tell from John T.:

"Therefore the appeal for the remix contest from Endanger was quite near to my vacation, we brought in everything which had to be done with keyboards pretty fast so that I - as main designer - was able to take my notebook including all necessary files with me on vacation. After almost four days of sweet idleness, I started working on these files and noticed that they were not very Sonic Replication-like.

During phase of sounddesign, the CPU broke down several times but nevertheless, I managed to finish design, construction and mix phases within the next two weeks over headphones.

Back in studio rooms we got a horror: the mix was scrap! And we only had one week left till deadline!

Finally we made it, but this is probably the reason that this mix does not reach the usual Sonic Replication level."

Well John T., you should have known it better: never take some work on vacation and do not make some mixes over headphones!

08-03-2005

At last here is someting new: The [MEYTA] are introducing their "Lovesong in 3/4 time".

In addition, there are some news regarding A Spiteful Silence - see toNdienste/projects!

07-07-2005

Took a long time, but we were not lazy!

News this time: Sonic Replication took part at the remix-contest of Endanger. We will see what there are going to say to the "Fourgiven Reamix" of "Give me a reason".

02-02-2005

And another satisfied costumer: "Die S/W Version" of "Dunkelkammer" (Golem 101) is ready and waits for release!

12-16-2004

However, the change-over of the MIDI-production from Atari ST (Yes, indeed!) to PC was a little bit more difficult than expected. But this is the reward for whole long waiting, a "new" song of The [MEYTA]: the completely re-recorded "Frozen Time Version" of "The dream", inspired by the Access_Denied-Version of this song.

In addition: Sonic Replication are going to do a remix of a song from the ambitious band Golem 101, who call their style themselves "Industrial Darkrock"! And even more: some provisions have been made to reanimate A Spiteful Silence in 2005 with new cast!

So stay tuned to get to know more!

09-01-2004

Although announced - unfortunately, we cannot send "The hero" Maxi-CD free of charge to the DJ's, based on different reasons.

However there will be new material of The [MEYTA] to be downloaded: work on "Mesoftunes" is running on full speed and finished songs - as usual - will be heard unmastered on the toNbremse.

08-01-2004

The second Maxi-CD of The [MEYTA] is finished!

04-10-2004

Unfortunately, Sonic Replication did not win the remix contest of :wumpscut:.

Nevertheless, the "Back To Back In The ... Mix" of "Just a tenderness" can be downloaded in the toNstrom/Sounds area - with kindly acceptance of Rudy R.

03-01-2004

Actually, they didn`t want to take part in another remix contest, but :wumpscut: was the very top one on the list of acts Sonic Replication wanted to exercise their "sound disruption".

Let`s wait and see how their version of "Just a tenderness" is going to be.

There is also some new material from The [MEYTA] to be heard:

The B-side song from the "The hero"-Maxi, which is called "Bewegungskontrolle", can be downloaded in the toNstrom/Sounds area.

02-07-2004

Another remix we were able to snatch for the toNbremse:

Sonic Replication's version of Garbo's "Lautsprecher" can now be downloaded in the toNstrom/Sounds-area - with kindly acceptance of the band.

Hear & Dance

There are all songs - opposite to the online releases - mastered.

And in addition, there is "Hast Du nöTe?".

To be ordered like all other NGR releases - at the toNaufnahme/Shop.

Further on: with an order of "toNbremse e.p." or other NGR releases, you`ll get the first Maxi-CD from The [MEYTA] "The dream" for free.
