This sentence, which seems to be used by every label is exemplarily for the history of all projects from Next Grinding Revenge.
Primary in 1994 Thesound Crash tried to terminate a record contract with ”Excerpts from >>Love, Gold & Adventure<< ”, but the second big boom of "Wave" (the first one lasted from the beginning to the middle of the 80s) was just beginning to die away.
Too much rubbish was published on the market so that record companies get more careful. Innovation and autonomy were less and less demanded, sales figures get more important; one label considered Thesound Crash even as ”without concept” only because their songs didn`t sound all the same like other bands of this label practise it.
From all applications Thesound Crash did till the beginning of 2000, only 10 % have shown any reaction. Even when a self-addressed and post-paid envelope has been attached, they received no answer.
In fact, less new bands entered the market but not everyone of them would have earned a release. At this point your doubts of having the right hobby are becoming bigger and bigger.
